Stow Veterinary Surgeons provides a 24-hour service 365 days a year.

In case of an out of hours emergency, please use our normal telephone number (01451 830620). You will be diverted through to a manned answering service - please give them your contact details. They will contact the vet on call who will telephone you on the number you supplied.

It is common for the vet on call replying to an emergency to find that the contact number is either engaged or incorrect. Please ensure that you give your correct number and that you do not use that telephone until you have been contacted by the vet on call. If you have not been contacted within 20 minutes, please phone again.

We operate our ‘out of hours’ service for registered clients. We would ask non-registered animal owners to contact the veterinary surgery they are registered with for out of hours advice. There is an additional fee payable for using the ‘out of hours’ service.
