Flea Control

There are a number of different ways in which fleas can be dealt with. Currently we recommend monthly ‘Frontline’ treatment for cats and 'Prac-tic' treatment for dogs, along with annual environmental control using ‘RIP Fleas’ household spray. It is important to treat both the environment and cats and dogs as nine out of ten fleas live in the environment, i.e. the carpet!

There are alternative control methods available so it is advisable to discuss your situation and requirements with a vet or nurse before starting a flea control program.
