Vaccinations
Dogs:
We recommend that puppies receive a first vaccination at eight
weeks of age, followed by a second vaccination at ten weeks of
age. This should be followed with an annual ‘booster’
vaccination. Puppies will be covered from two weeks after the
second vaccination.
We routinely vaccinate against; distemper virus, adenovirus, parainfluenza
virus, parvovirus, coronavirus and leptospirosis.
There is a Kennel Cough vaccine available, which vaccinates dogs
against Bordetella and parainfluenza virus. This can be repeated
annually. Allow at least three days between your dog receiving a
Kennel cough vaccine and taking them to kennels.
Cats:
We recommend that kittens receive a first vaccination at nine
or ten weeks followed by a second vaccination three to four weeks
later. This should be followed with an annual ‘booster’
vaccination.
We vaccinate cats against feline panleucopenia virus, rhinotracheitis
virus, calicivirus, leukaemia virus and chlamydia.
