Work Experience
We offer single work experience placements to year
10 and above school students and veterinary students. Our policy
on these placements are as follows:
Work experience:
Job description: Students will observe
vets and nurses throughout the working day. The majority of their
time will be spent helping the nursing staff
Dress code: Please dress ‘professionally’
which means no jeans or trainers.
Hours: Work experience students start at 10:00 and finish
at 15:30.
Veterinary students:
Job description: Students will be involved with all aspects of
mixed veterinary practice, from communicating with owners to assisting
with surgery. We aim to be as flexible as possible to allow students
to concentrate on their field of interest.
Dress code: Professionally, no jeans or trainers.
Students to provide clean protective clothing for farm visits.
Hours: 08:30 to 17:30
